J. Brian Urtnowski

Mr. Urtnowski is U & A's lead partner. He gives advice to and represents clients in all facets of technology patent infringement, including trade secrets, copyright and trade dress. Mr. Urtnowski also assists clients in licensing agreements, non-disclosure agreements and covenants not to compete. In addition to patent and copyright issues, Mr. Urtnowski has a substantial practice in real estate transactional work, successfully directing ventures through every stage of the development process. Mr. Urtnowski has been a successful litigator for nearly two decades, having seen nearly 50 trials through his representation of single-asset partnerships, joint ventures, and major corporate entities. |

Neil Sholander graduated from California Western School of Law in 2001. Since that time, Mr. Sholander has practiced civil litigation in areas including contract law, mechanic's lien and construction remedies, personal injury, and has experience in worker's compensation and statutory and regulatory compliance in the financial services sector. Mr. Sholander is admitted to practice law in California and the United Stated District Court for the Southern District of California. |

Lisamarie Graham

Ms. Graham is an associate attorney in the firm’s litigation department where she specializes in a wide range of business, employment and environmental litigation matters in both state and federal court. While at Chapman University, Ms. Graham focused her studies on real estate, administrative law, CERCLA and CEQA and earned Chapman University’s Environmental, Land Use and Real Estate (ENLURE) Certificate. She was also awarded the L.S. Palmos Environmental, Land Use and Real Estate Law Honors Scholarship. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Graham clerked for the Orange County District Attorney’s office, where she performed preliminary hearings as a Certified Law Clerk for felony and misdemeanor charges. Ms. Graham is admitted to practice law in California and the United Stated District Court for the Central District of California. |

Jered T. Ede

Mr. Ede graduated from Chapman University School of Law where he was a member of the Moot Court, the Mock Trial Honor Boards, and the Chapman Journal of Criminal Justice. While at Chapman, Mr. Ede was recognized for excellence in appellate advocacy. Prior to attending Chapman, Mr. Ede graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2007 with a degree in Political Science while working for the U.S. Senate and various non-profits. Mr. Ede joined the firm’s Orange County office in 2008 and currently practices law in a wide range of areas, including real estate, contract disputes, partnership dissolutions, employer-employee issues, discrimination and appellate practice. |
